MONROVIA, Liberia — The Liberia Standards Authority (LiSA) has hosted a Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS) mid-year review aimed at assessing institutional performance and strengthening internal governance and service delivery.
The high-level review was held on September 9, 2026, at the LiSA headquarters in Monrovia and brought together senior officials of the standards institution and compliance specialists from the Cabinet Office.
The session focused on reviewing LiSA’s strategic performance, assessing compliance with institutional targets and identifying measures to improve operational efficiency.
According to LiSA, the exercise also provided an opportunity to streamline its testing and verification services while strengthening internal systems responsible for maintaining institutional accountability and effectiveness.
The Authority said regular performance assessments are important to ensuring that its operations remain aligned with national standards and governance requirements.
LiSA further emphasized that stronger internal governance will enhance its ability to protect consumers, support local businesses and contribute to fair and transparent trade practices in Liberia.
The mid-year PMCS review forms part of ongoing efforts to improve institutional performance and ensure that public entities remain accountable for delivering on their strategic objectives.
