ACCRA, Ghana — The West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF) has recognized Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) Commissioner General James Dorbor Jallah for his contribution to strengthening tax cooperation and collaboration among revenue administrations across West Africa.
The recognition was presented during activities marking WATAF’s 15th anniversary, held alongside the 8th WATAF High-Level Policy Dialogue and the organization’s 23rd General Assembly in Accra, Ghana.
According to WATAF, the honor reflects Commissioner General Jallah’s leadership and sustained support for initiatives aimed at advancing the forum’s strategic priorities, programs, and institutional objectives.
WATAF Executive Secretary Jules Tapsoba presented the award to Jallah, highlighting his role in supporting the organization’s efforts to promote greater cooperation and knowledge-sharing among tax authorities within the region.
The recognition also underscores Liberia’s participation in regional initiatives designed to strengthen tax administration, improve institutional capacity, and foster closer coordination among West African revenue authorities.
Several other individuals were similarly honored during the anniversary celebration for their dedication and contributions to the development and advancement of WATAF.
