River Gee Superintendent Mourns Death of Sarbo District Commissioner Nathaniel Wesseh

MONROVIA, Liberia — River Gee County Superintendent Hon. Mike T. Swengbe has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hon. Nathaniel Wesseh, Commissioner of Sarbo Administrative District.

In a statement issued on August 9, 2026, Superintendent Swengbe described Commissioner Wesseh as a dedicated public servant, committed community leader, and proud son of Sarbo who served his people with distinction.

Superintendent Swengbe said the late Commissioner worked tirelessly to promote peace, development, and the general welfare of residents of Sarbo Administrative District and the wider River Gee County.

He noted that Commissioner Wesseh’s contribution to local governance and community development would be remembered with respect and gratitude.

“On behalf of the County Administration, the people of River Gee County, and myself, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, friends, the citizens of Sarbo District, and all citizens of River Gee County,” Superintendent Swengbe stated.

The River Gee County Superintendent also called for prayers and support for the bereaved family and all those affected by the loss, asking God to provide them with strength and comfort during this difficult period.He further prayed for eternal rest for the late Commissioner, saying, “May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
