KILLEPO, Kanweaken, River Gee County — River Gee County senatorial hopeful Cllr. Kunkunyon Teh and his delegation have arrived in the county, receiving a welcome from residents and traditional leaders in Killepo, Kanweaken.
The reception featured traditional cultural displays organized by community members and elders, highlighting local customs and cultural heritage.
Speaking during the gathering, Teh emphasized peace and cooperation among residents. He also said the heavy-duty equipment he brought from China for road rehabilitation would be available to interested parties, including government officials, provided that requests are submitted in advance and the necessary fuel is supplied.
As part of his engagements in Kanweaken, Teh announced the donation of 100 chairs to four churches, with each institution receiving 25 chairs.
He also announced a collective contribution of L$80,000 to the people of Killepo, Kanweaken. Details regarding the distribution and intended use of the funds were not immediately available.
