VOLAY, Nimba County – Nimba County Electoral District 9 Representative Taa Z. Wongbe has officially dedicated the newly constructed Volay Public School, describing the project as a landmark investment in education and a reflection of his commitment to expanding learning opportunities across the district.
The dedication ceremony brought together students, parents, teachers, traditional leaders, local officials, and residents of Volay, who gathered to celebrate the completion and official commissioning of the school.
Speaking during the ceremony, Rep. Wongbe expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Volay and everyone who contributed to the realization of the project. He said the occasion represented more than the dedication of a new school building, noting that it symbolized hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for the children of District 9.
“My heart is full. To see the community come out in such numbers—to see the children, parents, elders, teachers, and leaders gathered together celebrating what we built together—was deeply humbling,” Rep. Wongbe said.
He thanked all those who supported the initiative through their contributions, hard work, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering belief in the vision, emphasizing that the project was made possible through collective effort and community partnership.
Rep. Wongbe further stated that the dedication of Volay Public School demonstrates the importance of investing in education as a foundation for sustainable development. He stressed that every child deserves access to a safe, conducive, and quality learning environment, reaffirming his commitment to advancing educational development throughout Electoral District 9.
“Today was bigger than dedicating a building. We dedicated a dream. We dedicated hope. We reminded our children that they matter,” he said.
