Lower Margibi County, Liberia – Making Our Children Safe Again (MOCSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s National Blood Safety Program (NBSP), has held a Community and Health Coordination Meeting with leaders of Duazon Town, Zorkpeah Town, neighboring villages, and surrounding communities to strengthen healthcare delivery and promote voluntary blood donation.
The meeting focused on enhancing access to healthcare services, improving coordination between communities and healthcare providers, and raising awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation to ensure a safe and adequate national blood supply for life-saving medical treatment.
Representatives of MOCSA and the National Blood Safety Program reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with local communities to expand public awareness of voluntary blood donation, strengthen healthcare coordination, and improve access to quality healthcare services across Lower Margibi County.
“Strong community partnerships are essential to saving lives and building a healthier Liberia through voluntary blood donation and improved healthcare access,” a MOCSA representative said during the meeting.
The gathering concluded with a renewed commitment from community leaders and health partners to continue working together to build healthier, safer, and more resilient communities throughout Lower Margibi County.
