VOOGBADEE, Sinoe County – T. Ojuku Nyenpan has officially declared his intention to contest the Sinoe County Senate seat in the 2029 Presidential and Legislative Elections, marking his formal entry into Liberia’s competitive political landscape.
The declaration was made on July 27, 2026, during activities commemorating Liberia’s 179th Independence Day celebration in the historic southeastern city of Voogbaadee. Nyenpan said his decision followed months of careful reflection, extensive consultations, and engagements with citizens and key stakeholders across Sinoe County.
Addressing supporters, Nyenpan said his campaign will be centered on direct engagement with the people, pledging to visit communities throughout the county to present his vision, listen to citizens’ concerns, and explain why he believes he is best positioned to represent Sinoe in the Liberian Senate.
He expressed confidence in the judgment of the people of Sinoe, describing them as discerning voters who will make decisions based on leadership, integrity, and a commitment to the county’s development.
Nyenpan said he is optimistic about the future of Sinoe County and vowed to conduct a peaceful, issue-based campaign focused on unity, inclusive development, and effective representation.
“With the support of the citizens, we will compete with our full strength and capacity, and, God willing, we shall prevail,” he declared.
His announcement officially launches the Team Sinoe 2029 campaign, making him one of the earliest aspirants to publicly declare for the county’s 2029 senatorial race.
