SINOE COUNTY, LIBERIA — Elton Johns, Chief Executive Officer of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, has donated LRD$100,000 to the Sinoe County Sports Steering Committee to support the county’s preparations for the upcoming National County Sports Meet.
The latest contribution continues an annual initiative through which Johns has provided LRD$100,000 each year to support Sinoe County’s participation in the national sporting competition over the past ten years.
His continued financial contributions come as the county prepares to compete against other counties in the tournament, one of Liberia’s major sporting events that brings together teams from across the country.
The LRD$100,000 donation is intended to assist the Sinoe County Sports Steering Committee with preparations for the competition. Such preparations typically require financial resources to support team logistics and other competition-related needs.
The committee has expressed appreciation to Johns and the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies for the contribution, acknowledging the support toward the county’s participation in the annual sporting event.
Johns’ reported annual donations over the past decade represent a continuing source of private financial support for Sinoe County’s involvement in the National County Sports Meet.
As preparations continue, the committee is expected to focus on organizing the county team and mobilizing the resources necessary for its participation in the upcoming competition.
