AITB Deputy Director General Alphanso Paye Korto Sr. Supports Six Families in Independence Day Outreach

Monrovia, Liberia – In celebration of Liberia’s 179th Independence Anniversary, the Deputy Director General of the Agricultural and Industrial Training Bureau (AITB), Hon. Alphanso Paye Korto Sr., extended humanitarian support to six households in his community.

The assistance included bags of rice, cooking oil, and seasoning cubes as part of his personal effort to give back and commemorate the nation’s Independence Day with vulnerable families.

Hon. Korto said the initiative reflects his commitment to community service and appreciation for fellow Liberians during the national celebration.

He also explained that he intentionally chose not to feature the beneficiaries in videos or photographs, emphasizing that genuine acts of kindness should protect the dignity and privacy of those receiving assistance.

“I deliberately chose not to feature the recipients because I believe acts of kindness should preserve the dignity and privacy of those receiving assistance,” he stated.

Looking ahead, Hon. Korto announced that his next community outreach and giveaway is scheduled for August 24 in Nimba County, where he plans to continue supporting families and strengthening the spirit of compassion and service.

He reaffirmed his commitment to giving back to communities and encouraged others to support those in need whenever possible.
