MONROVIA, Liberia — Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala has congratulated Justice Charlyne M. Brumskine on her appointment as a Justice of the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice and subsequent election as President of the regional court.
Gbala described Brumskine’s elevation as a significant achievement for Liberia, saying it reflects the country’s legal expertise and the leadership capacity of Liberian women on the international stage.
He also commended President Joseph Nyuma Boakai for selecting Brumskine, emphasizing that national competence and professional excellence should take precedence over political differences and partisan considerations.
According to Gbala, the development serves as an inspiration to young Liberians, particularly women aspiring to careers in law and public service.
He wished Justice Brumskine success in her new role, expressing hope that her leadership would strengthen the Court’s standing and bring further recognition to Liberia.
