HARPER, Maryland County — The Harper Demonstration Junior and Senior High School is undergoing a major physical transformation as renovation works financed by Hon. Bedell Dorbor advance to the third phase, with the entire school building now being painted.
The renovation represents a significant facelift for the institution, which had experienced years of deterioration and required substantial improvements to its physical infrastructure.
The project began with the replacement of the school’s old roof with aluminum-zinc roofing sheets. The second phase focused on the installation of new ceilings, while the current third phase involves painting the entire facility.
With each phase, the school is taking on a noticeably improved appearance, creating the prospect of a cleaner, more presentable, and more conducive environment for students and teachers.
The renovation is being undertaken and financed by Bedell Dorbor, whose contribution has supported the ongoing rehabilitation of the school’s infrastructure.
Although the project is still underway, the progress already achieved represents a substantial change in the condition of the facility, as reflected in the accompanying photographs.
