LNP Inspector General Joins Global Security Leaders in China for Cyber Fraud Conference

Monrovia, Liberia — The Inspector General of the Liberia National Police (LNP) is participating in the inaugural conference of the International Alliance for Combating Telecom and Cyber Fraud and the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum currently being held in the People’s Republic of China.

The high-level gathering has brought together law enforcement officials, public security leaders and representatives from different countries to strengthen international collaboration in addressing telecommunications and cyber-enabled fraud.

The conference provides a platform for participating countries to exchange experiences, discuss emerging threats and explore coordinated approaches to tackling increasingly sophisticated forms of cybercrime.

Liberia’s participation, through the leadership of the LNP Inspector General, highlights the country’s engagement in international law enforcement cooperation and efforts to strengthen its response to technology-driven criminal activities.

The forum is also expected to promote broader cooperation among public security institutions, with emphasis on information sharing, capacity building and joint efforts to address transnational security challenges.

The event is currently underway in China, with founding members and international security representatives taking part in the inaugural proceedings.
