Nathaniel Toe Jr. Formally Commissioned as Maryland County Superintendent

MONROVIA, Liberia — Maryland County Superintendent Nathaniel Toe Jr. has officially taken office following his formal commissioning by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai at the Executive Mansion in Monrovia.

Superintendent Toe’s commissioning comes after his confirmation by the Liberian Senate, completing the constitutional process for his assumption of the county’s top administrative position.

During the ceremony, President Boakai charged the newly commissioned officials to remain focused on national development and deliver meaningful results for the Liberian people.

The President specifically urged county officials to foster cooperation with local authorities, traditional leaders and other stakeholders, emphasizing that political differences should not stand in the way of development.

Superintendent Toe is expected to work with stakeholders across Maryland County to advance the county’s development priorities and improve public services for its residents.
