KANWEAKEN, River Gee County — River Gee County Superintendent Mike T. Swengbe met with local officials, chiefs, elders, and residents of Gbeapo Administrative District in Kanweaken to discuss ongoing development initiatives and address key community concerns.
During the meeting, Superintendent Swengbe announced the arrival of the final batch of yellow machines, which will be deployed for road maintenance and other development projects across the county, including Gbeapo District.
Residents raised concerns over the illegal parking of commercial vehicles along the main road, land disputes among citizens, and other traditional matters affecting the district.
Responding to the issues, Superintendent Swengbe encouraged local leaders and traditional authorities to work together in resolving disputes peacefully and in accordance with customary practices and the law. He also assured residents that the County Administration, in collaboration with relevant authorities, would take measures to address illegal roadside parking to improve traffic flow and public safety.
The Superintendent thanked community members for their participation and reaffirmed the county government’s commitment to promoting development, peace, and unity throughout River Gee County.
The meeting concluded with local leaders pledging their continued support for government development programs and efforts to maintain law and order in the district.
