Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), in collaboration with the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), has successfully concluded the administration of a computer-based assessment for candidates participating in the CBL’s ongoing recruitment exercise. The assessment was conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Paynesville City Hall, following a successful system validation exercise held on Wednesday, August 26. A total of 635 shortlisted applicants participated in the digital assessment.
The assessment represents a critical phase of the CBL’s recruitment process for positions within its Information Technology (IT) Department and the Regulatory and Supervision Department (RSD). The recruitment initiative attracted 987 applications following the close of the application period on August 21, 2026.
As part of its contribution to the exercise, the LRA provided comprehensive technical and operational support, including the deployment of a secure digital testing platform, the assignment of qualified technical personnel, the provision of the necessary logistical and technological infrastructure, and on-site coordination throughout the assessment. These measures ensured the efficient, transparent, and seamless administration of the examination.
The successful execution of the digital assessment underscores the strong institutional partnership between the LRA and the CBL and reflects their shared commitment to advancing technology-driven solutions that promote transparency, operational efficiency, and merit-based recruitment. The collaboration further highlights the increasing adoption of digital innovations across Liberia’s public institutions in support of modern, accountable, and effective public sector service delivery.
