MONROVIA, Liberia — The Senior Management Team (SMT) of the Civil Service Agency (CSA) has held its first meeting for September 2026, focusing on key administrative and human resource issues aimed at strengthening Liberia’s public sector workforce.
The meeting, held in the Dr. C. William Allen Conference Room, was chaired by the CSA Deputy Director-General for Administration and Finance, Atty. Dahnu Mianyen.
Discussions centered on ongoing administrative and human resource matters, with management reviewing challenges confronting the civil service and identifying practical measures to improve institutional efficiency, workforce development and public service delivery.
In opening remarks, Acting CSA Director-General Hon. Edwin K. Jallah highlighted key reform decisions currently being advanced at both the institutional and national levels.
Jallah emphasized the importance of continued coordination and decisive action as the Agency works to implement reforms designed to improve the effectiveness of Liberia’s civil service.
The CSA considers its SMT meetings an important part of its internal management and reform process. The sessions provide a platform for senior officials to assess ongoing activities, identify challenges, develop solutions and collectively agree on actions to address emerging issues.
Management said the continued engagement is critical to ensuring that civil service reforms translate into improved performance, stronger institutions and better public service delivery for the people of Liberia.
