AITB Deputy Director Commends President Boakai’s Decisive Anti-Drug Actions

MONROVIA – AITB Deputy Director for Administration, Hon. Alphanso Paye Korto Sr., has publicly praised President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr.’s leadership following the dismissal, suspension, and investigation of several senior security officials over alleged links to narcotics trafficking.

Reacting to the President’s sweeping actions, Korto reaffirmed his confidence in Boakai’s leadership, describing the move as evidence of the President’s commitment to accountability and national service.

“This is the man I can proudly say I voted for. His leadership, dedication, and commitment to serving the Liberian people continue to inspire confidence. Proud of my choice, and I remain hopeful for a brighter Liberia under his leadership,” Korto stated.

President Boakai’s latest actions, which include the removal of top security officials and the launch of comprehensive investigations into alleged drug trafficking networks, have been widely viewed as one of the administration’s strongest responses yet to the country’s growing narcotics challenge.

Korto’s endorsement underscores increasing support for the President’s efforts to strengthen transparency, uphold the rule of law, and demonstrate that no public official is beyond accountability in the fight against drug trafficking and corruption.
