Repentance Baptist School Achieves 100% WASSCE Pass Rate

MONROVIA, LIBERIA — Repentance Baptist Church School System (RBCSS) has recorded a 100 percent pass rate in the 2025–2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), with all 23 candidates successfully passing.

The achievement was celebrated during the school’s fifth Senior High School Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Congo Town, Monrovia, under the theme, “Kpato Awon” — “The Bright Future Has Come.”

Commissioner Edward Horton Lahai served as guest speaker, encouraging graduates to pursue further education and prepare for responsible leadership. Other distinguished guests included Montserrado County District #5 Representative Priscilla A. Cooper and DEO Moore Mulbah.

Principal Pastor Henry J. Bemah and Business Manager Victor B. Sayon, alongside teachers, parents, and school administrators, were recognized for their contributions to the institution’s academic progress. The school attributed the results to collective commitment, effective teaching, discipline, and teamwork.

Beyond its academic achievement, RBCSS emphasizes affordable, quality education and character development. The school charges annual tuition of L$13,000 and a registration fee of L$9,000. It also operates a daycare and lower-grade program serving children from daycare through Grade 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Guided by its motto, “Train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6), the institution aims to equip students with the knowledge, values, and skills needed for further education and future opportunities.

The successful performance of all 23 WASSCE candidates marks a significant milestone for the school as it continues its mission of promoting academic excellence, accessible education, and responsible leadership.
