GREENVILLE, Sinoe County, Liberia — Construction work on the Greenville Water Supply System is progressing, with infrastructure development visible at two project sites during a recent visit to assess ongoing activities.
Observations at the sites revealed concrete structures, gravel-covered areas, a fenced facility, and a building within a secured compound, indicating continued work on the water infrastructure project being implemented by the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC).
The project is expected to improve access to safe and reliable drinking water in Greenville, the capital of Sinoe County, where dependable water services remain essential for household needs, sanitation, and public health.
Reliable access to clean water is a critical component of community development, making the successful completion of the project important to residents who depend on improved water services.
However, the overall percentage of work completed, the remaining construction requirements, and the projected date for the system to become operational have not been established. Further information from the LWSC would be needed to clarify the project’s implementation timeline and expected delivery.
As construction continues at both sites, residents will be looking forward to the completion of the facilities and the actual delivery of improved water services.
The project’s impact will ultimately depend on its successful completion and the system’s ability to provide Greenville residents with a dependable supply of safe water.
