MONROVIA, Liberia – Road Safety and Environmental Safety Advocate and Chief Executive Officer of the National Safety Partnership of Liberia (NASPAL), Philip E. Wood II, has commended SPOON TV LIVE / SPOON NETWORK Chief Executive Officer Mr. Stanton A. Witherspoon for what he described as his commitment to Liberia.
In a goodwill message, Wood expressed appreciation for Witherspoon’s support for the country and wished him continued blessings.
“I respect your love for Liberia. Because of that, I believe you will continue to enjoy God’s favor. Remain blessed,” Wood said.
Wood also encouraged Witherspoon to continue providing what he described as honest and constructive advice to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and the administration he supported during the 2023 general elections.
“Continue doing your best by advising the President and the government you supported to power. True friends tell their friends the truth. Bad friends tell their friends they are doing well when indeed they are screwing up,” Wood stated.
According to Wood, honest advice is important in helping leaders recognize challenges and make better decisions.
The NASPAL CEO also reflected on a recent gathering with members of the Grand Gedeh County community in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, describing it as one of his memorable experiences with Liberians in the diaspora.
“One of my great days was hanging out with my Grand Gedeh County families out in Philadelphia, PA,” he said.
Wood continues to advocate for road safety, environmental protection, and greater public awareness on issues affecting communities in Liberia.
