MONROVIA, LIBERIA — The DMG Foundation, founded by U.S.-based Liberian philanthropist Deesire Moore, is preparing to launch its 2026 Women’s Empowerment Grant Initiative, a program designed to provide opportunities and support to women across Liberia.
The initiative forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to contributing to the development and well-being of Liberians, particularly by helping women turn their ideas, businesses and community projects into meaningful opportunities for growth.
Under the program, women across Liberia are being invited to submit a three-minute video outlining their interest in the initiative, their vision, and how they plan to use the opportunity to create a positive impact in their communities.
According to the Foundation, the grant initiative will seek to identify women with promising ideas, viable businesses and community-based projects that have the potential to improve lives and contribute to national development.
The DMG Foundation is therefore encouraging women from across the country to take advantage of the initiative by sharing their stories, presenting their visions and demonstrating how the grant could help transform their ideas into sustainable ventures and community impact.
The Foundation says the program reflects its broader vision of investing in Liberian women and creating pathways for them to become stronger contributors to their families, communities and the country at large.
