Connecticut will soon administer the coronavirus vaccine to people older than 75.

CONNECTICUT Connecticut’s phase 1b of the coronavirus vaccine rollout will start Jan. 18 for residents over the age of 75, officials announced Monday. Registration for appointments will begin Thursday.
More than 141,000 vaccine doses have been administered in Connecticut as of Monday and the state ranks fifth nationally per capita in vaccine distribution, according to Gov. Ned Lamont. More than 42 percent of all vaccine doses Connecticut has received were administered in the past week, he said.
