Sleweon Named Southeast Liberia’s Top Superintendent

GREENVILLE, Sinoe County — Sinoe County Superintendent Alexander Nah Sleweon has been named the “Most Outstanding Superintendent of Southeast Liberia” by the Coalition of Civil Society Organizations in Liberia (CCSO).

The award was presented Monday in Greenville during a ceremony where Sleweon received a Certificate of Honor and was formally gowned.

CCSO said the recognition reflects its assessment of Sleweon’s leadership and the county administration’s work in areas including road rehabilitation, public infrastructure, education, youth empowerment and community engagement.

The coalition also pointed to efforts to strengthen oversight of public resources and promote responsible management of Sinoe’s natural assets.

The award was presented under the theme: “Distinguished Leadership, Exemplary Public Service and Outstanding Contribution to Local Governance.”

In accepting the recognition, Sleweon thanked the coalition and credited government ministries, agencies, concessionaires, communities and other partners for their role in development activities across the county.

He called for greater cooperation among stakeholders, saying continued progress in Sinoe would depend on collective action and sustained investment in the county’s people and communities.

CCSO described the recognition as an acknowledgment of what it considers a development-focused approach to administering the county.

The award places Sleweon among the region’s local officials receiving recognition for their contribution to public service and community development.
