SINOE COUNTY, LIBERIA — The Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY), Sinoe County Secretariat, has praised young people, government institutions, community leaders, development partners and other stakeholders for their participation in a two-day dialogue focused on youth priorities and engagement with government.

The Youth Agenda and Government Stakeholders Dialogue, held from September 16–17, 2026, brought together students, youth representatives, government officials, community actors and other invited participants to discuss challenges confronting young people across Sinoe County.
The forum created a platform for young people to directly raise concerns, outline their priorities and aspirations, and present possible solutions while government representatives provided responses and shared information on existing opportunities and areas where further collaboration could be pursued.
In its post-dialogue appreciation, the FLY Sinoe County Secretariat recognized the government representatives who attended the engagement and interacted with participants on issues affecting young people.
The Secretariat also commended students, youth leaders, youth-based organizations, community representatives and other participants for what it described as their active involvement, discipline and constructive contributions throughout the two-day session.
According to the youth organization, the outcome of the dialogue underscores the need for stronger cooperation among young people, government, communities and development partners if youth-related challenges are to be effectively addressed.
FLY Sinoe is meanwhile urging relevant government institutions, including the Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Justice, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and Ministry of Education, to follow up on the concerns and recommendations presented during the dialogue.
The Secretariat stressed that continued engagement between young people and government is necessary to promote accountability, strengthen communication and ensure that youth voices are incorporated into decisions affecting their future and the development of Sinoe County.
FLY Sinoe concluded by expressing appreciation to all individuals, institutions and organizations that contributed to the success of the dialogue, while calling for sustained efforts to translate the discussions into practical actions that can improve opportunities and conditions for young people throughout the county.
