Fish Town, River Gee County – August 2, 2026 – River Gee County Superintendent Mike T. Swengbe has called on citizens to embrace unity, peace, and collective responsibility as the county begins the month of August, emphasizing that sustained development depends on the efforts of every resident.
In his First Sunday Message issued from the Office of the Superintendent, Swengbe expressed gratitude to God for His protection and guidance, urging residents to enter the new month with renewed hope and determination.
The superintendent praised the contributions of students, teachers, healthcare workers, farmers, marketers, drivers, security personnel, elders, and young people, describing their dedication as the foundation for building a stronger and more prosperous River Gee County.
He also highlighted the arrival of the county’s yellow machines, describing the equipment as a major opportunity to improve road connectivity and infrastructure. Swengbe encouraged residents to safeguard the machines and ensure they are used responsibly for the benefit of all communities.
Offering prayers for the county, the superintendent asked for God’s blessings upon every household, from Chedepo to Webbo, Potupo to Teinpo, and across all towns and villages in River Gee. He prayed for good health, strength, and greater opportunities for citizens throughout the month.
Swengbe concluded by encouraging residents to worship in peace, love one another, and remain committed to the county’s development, stressing that River Gee’s continued progress requires unity and shared responsibility.
