Sinoe County , Liberia — July 6, 2026 — The Office of the Superintendent of Sinoe County has lauded the successful completion of the 2026 Liberia Football Association (LFA) Sinoe Sub-Committee District League, describing the tournament as a strong platform for youth empowerment, unity, and the growth of sports across the county.
The competition ended with Jaedea District crowned champions in both football and kickball, following an intense series of matches that featured strong performances from districts across Sinoe County.
At the closing program, Superintendent Sleweon extended congratulations to Jaedea District for its remarkable achievement and praised all participating teams for their commitment, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
He also recognized the efforts of the LFA Sinoe Sub-Committee, sponsors, local officials, security officers, referees, volunteers, and fans, noting that their collective support was key to the smooth execution of the league. With the district-level competition now concluded, the Superintendent disclosed that attention has shifted toward preparations for the National County Sports Meet.
He urged residents of Sinoe County to come together in support of Team Sinoe, emphasizing the importance of unity, encouragement, and community backing as the county prepares for national competition.
According to him, the district league has set the tone for greater achievements ahead, adding that with strong teamwork and public support, Sinoe County can perform strongly at the national level. “The conclusion of this league is a stepping stone toward what lies ahead. I encourage all Sinoe citizens to stand with Team Sinoe as we prepare for the National County Sports Meet. With unity and commitment, we can achieve great results,” he noted.
